do you believe in 'the gift'?

How weird is that? I am a believer but have never been to visit a medium for a reading or anything as I find it a bit scary personally. My mum died when I was 14 and she was a big fan of visiting clairvoyants and she used to go back to a previous life. My sister has very much followed in her footsteps.
If somebody approached me in the street like that I think I would faint!
