Do you Believe in Sole Mates?

I was just wondering what your oppion on sole mates are? It may be an odd question but me and my friends were talking about it earlier today.

My oppinion is that you can have a sole mate but it doesn't mean that the kind of person that you need your whole life with but more like a best friend. If you ever so the seris final of Dawson Creek when Jack told Jen that she was his sole mate. It made me cry so hard . So what's your oppion?

This confused me at first because it should be soul, s-o-u-l instead of sole, s-o-l-e, but yes, I do. I believe that somewhere in the world is one person for everyone. My soul mate is out there somewhere.

I think everyone has a soul mate, but I don't think alot of people ever find them. There are a billions and billions of people on this earth and out of that billions and billions there is someones soul mate. But I think it's a Slim chance of finding them.

But I believe they get the next best thing...and I believe that there is someone out there for everyone.

I think perhaps, maybe you have more than one. People, sometimes are lucky enough to find love after their partners death, lucky enough to have something amazing a second time around.

But I do not believe they are their soul mate. If they are good for them but out of the whole billions of people I don't think it would be. But that is just a soul mate.

Most people say they found their soul mate. There is no way to tell but I think they probably just found one of many true loves, but I think there is only one soul mate. But that's my opinion. If they think they are soul mates I'm not gonna tell them they're not. There is no way to prove it anyway. IMO.

Sometimes I'll see two people who are married or engaged or dating or whatever, and they'll be complete opposites, or just both really the kind of people I would never expect to end up together. But then that thought always pops back into my mind...there's someone out there for everybody!

Out of curiosity, how do you personally define the difference?

I think a soul mate is someone who is perfect in every way, and that somone finds no faults in them. Which I suppose most would probably believe I don't think there is a soul mate, because no one is perfect. But I do believe that there is one person out there for everyone that someone could find no faults in.

A true love I define is pretty much the same way except there is faults. Which is perfectly fine. I'd rather have a true love then a soul mate for I couldn't have someone perfect in everyway.

But I believe someone only has one soul mate but can have countless true loves.

Just IMO. I know people would disagree but it's my definition of each one. :]

I do believe in soul mates. I think that is because I don't believe in divorce.
I think that if you loved the person enough to walk them down the aisle than you should love them enough to want to make things work in your relationship. I think that once you find that one person you want to spend the rest of your life with than you are bound to them in sickness and in health till death do you part. Everyone has that somebody it is just how they choose to hold on to them.​
