That when the universe splits off into other universes but some might have the course of history changed. There is a universe where Hitler won and one where he lost. There is a universe where I have black shoes and another where I have white shoes. Like that.

I think that it's highly probable. I mean, outer space is constantly expanding, even as we speak. I just think it'd be highly unlikely for us to be living on the only planet with intelligent life.
