Do you bathe your cat or put clothes on her/him?

My two cats now (indoor only) and every cat I've ever owned growing up (some were indoor/outdoor)...ALL bathed themselves. Always. Cats are good with that.

I can only see giving a cat a bath for medical reasons or if it got into something like tar. Even the dirtiest strays I've adopted have cleaned themselves up, after being indoor-only for a couple of days.

Mama don't do cat baths.

CLOTHES? Nah, they're cats, not dolls. Now for WARMTH, if you think your kitty needs it, I think setting up the warm area is a good idea. There are heated cat seats that attach to windows that your cat may enjoy. I don't think cats enjoy wearing clothes.

I used to work in a grooming shop. Everytime we had a cat come in for a bath, I'd start cussing under my breath. There is some EVIL kitties in this world!!!

Especially the clothes thing. I just don't think I could do it.

We bathe (not frequently) and dress our kitties (less frequently) - our kitties are really docile, and even though they may not like it they won't attack us.

I have really strange cats.. I bathe them, I clip their nails.. I put diapers on them, the kids think its funny! Baby clothes too! I have no scars. They dont really mind.. they aren't happy about it.. but they do let me do it! They are 2 yr old sisters

We have 4 cats and 2 of them get baths, but we've had them since they were tiny. The other 2 we found as strays and they were older so we don't try to bathe them or they would kill us!!

And yes...we torture them with clothes at times!!!
