Do you and your spouse/SO agree about your favorite DVC resort?

We agree that VWL is our favorite....after that we don't :teeth:

Bobbi :)

We have stayed at OKW twice and looked at the other resorts but we are now certain if we have our first pick it will be BWV. We have taken a poll in our family group as to where everyone wants to stay during our next trip and it was pretty lopsided for BWV 1st,BCV next. So I'm glad we bought here. However, if my choices were booked I would still stay at any of the other DVC properties and enjoy myself.

His first (actually only) choice is OKW-if he can't stay there, he'll stay home, he said!

Well, that's a little (excuse me, lot) selfish! :confused3 I would call him on that. If he will only go to OKW and won't share your favorite resort with you once in a while, tell him he can go to OKW by HIMself. I'm sure you enjoy you solo trips without him, I am certainly not suggesting abandoning them, but I would hope he would compromise sometimes. Or maybe you don't want to share YOUR favorite resort with HIM?!? ;)

My wife and I both agree, we have loved each place we've stayed, BWV, VWL, HH, and VB. We are sure we'll like BCV and AKV too. Neither of us are sure about OKW or SSR (we like being close to the action or part of a larger hotel), but will give them a try too. We both fear we may not care for SSR.......don't care about DTD, don't like the distance from the parks, don't like the massive size, doesn't have OKW's room size advantage, etc. We'll wait until it is finished and mature before trying and making a final opinion.

We own at BWV, and will probably add on soon at a different resort, but it's going to be a hard decision because we like them all. I do think the only bone of contention we may have is her having AKV high on that list, whereas the location keeps it from being a possibility in my mind (great place to visit, but not as a home resort.)

We own at SSR, but love the BC and BWV. Not having to deal with the bus service for two of the parks is outstanding. We enjoy the short walk to Epcot and boat ride to MGM. It is a lot of fun to watch the magicians perform at night on the Boardwalk . We also enjoy watching the Epcot Fire works from our room.

Actually the last is closer to the truth. He DID say "Maybe I should try BCV sometime with you, just to see what it's like since you love it so much." However, since we only have 100 BCV points, I'm not anxious for both of us to go there (I guess I don't really want to share "my" points. And since I really do enjoy us relaxing at OKW (if both of us go, OKW has the most relaxing accomodations), it works out OK.

We don't agree. DW loves the BWV and the location they provide. Similar to the OP, I find them to be way to "busy." Great location, to be sure, and I will stay there again, but I much prefer the calm, out-of-the-way feeling I get at SSR.

That's the beauty of DVC - there is a resort for everyone!

We agree- BCV!

Everytime we think about staying at another DVC resort, we always decide on BCV. For us it is location, location, location. We love EPCOT and you can't beat the 5 min. walk to the countries.

We maybe agree...

The youngest son loves VWL.
The oldest son SSR
My Dh says he will love VAK
I am happy being at any DVC at Disney!

On our last BC stay Dh said no more. We hate how crowded the pool is. He has no interest in trying BW, although I would like to try it.

We both agree BWV first and OKW second.

My family all agrees that for us BCV is #1 ! SAB :cool1: and you can't beat the location. We are looking forward to AKV and will probably ADD ON :thumbsup2
