Do you always confirm your ADR's before you arrive?

I was wondering if people always confirm before their trip. Thank you!

yes....but i'm an engineer by trade and have been accused of being overly-anal at times:)

I would call and get a print out at the resort when you get there. I didn't on our last trip and 2 of our reservations were incorrect. So, we missed a meal at California Grill & Brown Derby. I was able to change one once I realized the error but the 2nd one we just missed completely.

I usually only make one ADR per trip so I don't confirm before I arrive. Haven't had a problems yet. Matter of fact we usually get in early. :thumbsup2

No. I spend as little time on the phone with Disney Dining as possible.

But I carry the confirmation numbers.

No, I don't want to chance having them cancelled or messed up. I keep all of my confirmation numbers and carry them with me. I didn't have any problems on our last trip, and fingers crossed won't have any on this one.

I'll get a printout at the resort and double check them against what I have, if there's a mistake, I'll get it fixed then.

I usually call 2 weeks before departure and I always carry my confirmation numbers with me......but after reading some of the mixups in this board, I may just rely on the conf. #'s next year.(though I must say I have always confirmed my ADR's by phone and it makes me a little nervous to not do so!)

From what I am hearing....even if you have your conf#'s with you.....if the ressie gets deleted your still up a creek without a paddle.:confused3

I *usually do and this would be my week to do it...but I am too scared this year hearing others experiences lately of having them deleted when they called to check on them. :scared1: I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I got there next weekend and our ADR's were cancelled!

I'm not about to go calling Disney Dining and being on hold forever just to find out whether or not the ADR has been deleted somehow. Maybe if they'd just get rid of the whole "press 1 if you've been to WDW before, press 2 if you have been to WDW in the past 2 years, press 3 if you've ever known anyone else who went to WDW" sort of thing you get when you call them.

If I were to worry about that, I'd have a printout made at the resort. (Resort concierge can print all your ADRs out for you). If they can't find the ADR you can have them make another one. You may not get the same one, though...but that could be true no matter when you check.

I would think if you call WDW-DINE just to check, it heightens the chances that the reservation will get screwed up somehow.

I always call at least a week before we leave. I too am very anal about certain things, and this is one one of them (along with confirming my resort reservations).

But for me, it's more a confirmation that I did it correctly since my ADR's are usually done months in advance. Plus, we get the resort printout when we check in. I think they would have hard time denying your seating if you have the printout in hand.
