Do you actually look at usernames?

Cause I don't. I look for usernames when I'm looking on the first page to see who's posting today, but after that I just look at signatures and avatars. I look at usernames when I see a signature/avatar combo that I don't recognize, though.

I'm wondering if I'm alone here. So do you read the usernames or do you look for a signature you recognize when reading a thread?

Usually I just look at signatures, but if the signature changed then I look at the username.

But if I don't recognize the signature, I'll look at the name.

I look at the signature first (after all, that's the direction I'm reading in), then the username. Or avatar... but a lot of people use default avatars, so with those it's better to look at the usernames first.

I always look at the first one since I know about 4 sigs matched with usernames. After knowing who posted the first one, if I read anything that I really agree with or really disagree with I'll look. Other than that, unless they're being obnoxious and rude, I don't look.

Yes. I can't help it. I would seriously have to block the corners of my eyes to not look at the usernames. My vision isn't narrowed.
