Do YES / Homeschool Tickets Have Names On Them?

Do YES tickets (homeschool specifically I suppose) picked up at Will Call have a NAME on them for each person registered?

Do they now specify adult and child on them? Last year we got the tickets mailed to us and all they said was Youth for everyone and no name, so I was wondering if it was different this time.

Would a CM ever ask for an ID or fingerprint for Youth/YES tickets that adults use?

Do you have to sign the tickets?

I am not planning on selling them. We are trying to figure some things out as my parents were hoping to come, and we just realized that they can not get the homeschool tickets as we had hoped.

I know you asked about the Homeschool tickets specifically but I can confirm info about the YES tickets we had for our individual enrollment in June. :thumbsup2

There were no names on them and no finger scans required on any of them. I had read this before leaving and a CM confirmed there are "never" finger scans with the YES tickets.

All the tickets have "youth" printed on them as well but no worries! ;)

Hope this helps and someone will also confirm the Homeschool ones although they should be the same. :thumbsup2

Thanks! Just what I needed to hear! I appreciate you taking the time to reply.

You DO have to finger print the ticket. We have done 4 programs and we ALWAYS have been finger printed, even the kids....
No Names on Tickets.
The "Youth" is only information on how they were purchased.
Only good for 7 days prior and 7 days post stay.
Can NOT change or alter tickets such as if you want to add days.
Good value, lots of strings.

We were there 10/12/11-10/19/11. Our youth tickets did not have our names printed on them, but we were handed a pen and asked to sign them at the Will Call window at Epcot when we picked them up. We were never finger scanned.

.

I am sorry, but this is not true. We just got back a few weeks ago and none of the tickets were ever finger scanned. The light turned green immediately if the ticket was accepted, and we went through the turnstile without a scan. A few times my husband was asked to scan, before the CM realized it was not necessary, but he never ended up getting scanned.

Kids are never scanned on regular 3-9 year old tickets, either.

We have done the homeschool/Yes program 2 times now.

On a side note, the CM that printed our tickets at will call at Animal Kingdom the first day apparently put the dates our 8 day tickets were valid as 1 day!! We found out the next day at Epcot when we went up to the turnstiles and the first ticket we tried said it was expired. That was a big hassle to fix, but it was fixed.

Do homeschool kids get into Disney for free?

No! If you go during their homeschool days the tickets are greatly discounted for the entire family. Ours were 8 day hoppers with an additional 8 visits to the waterparks and Disneyquest for just over $200 each with tax. There are no child tickets. Everyone gets the same tickets at the one price.

I can not post a link as I do not have 10 posts yet, but go to www dot Disneyhomeschooldays dot com to see pricing. Last time I went into the purchase system, the 8 day tickets were available even though they are not listed on the page above. It could have changed recently, though.

The prices have gone up a little bit from the October 2011 homeschool program pricing.

We are hoping to get YES tickets for our January trip as two of my kids would like to take a class. We plan to return in Nov, Can you tell me if you can turn them into annual passes? Thank you

I am not positive, but I am pretty sure it is a NO. They are not upgradeable at all from my understanding - can not extend dates or add days or anything. Are you going in January to a YES program or the homeschool days? There are YES programs at other times of the year and it might coincide with your November dates. From what I recall the YES individual enrollment tickets cost more than the homeschool ones, but they are still reasonable. I am not talking about the classes themselves but the tickets for your entire party when you do the YES individual enrollment option and sign up for a class.
