Do we need to bank points in this situation?

We are planning on taking a trip to Aulani next June, and we will need to book at the 7 month window which is November. Our use year is December, and we have around 100 points remaining for 2013. The remainder of our trip (around 50 points) will come from 2014 points we will receive in December 2014.

Do we need to bank the 2013 points before we try to book our reservation online in November? We are reading something about banking within a 4 month window which is confusing us.

The trip will take place during your Dec 2014 UY. To use points from your 2013 UY for the reservation, they need to be banked prior to making the reservation. Your banking deadline is the end of July.
