Do we need ressies for TRex Cafe?

We are flying in to Orlando on 9/11 and had planned to take stuff to hotel (off site) then head to Down Town Disney.
We want to take the kids to TRex Cafe for supper that night.

Do we need reservations for that?
Is it too late to get them now?

Im not sure what time we'd be there. Our flight gets in around 100 or 130 I believe.
My fiance will be there already and will meet us at the airport.
We're thinking probably 430 by the time we'd be at DTD.

yes, you would want reservations...typical wait times at TRex without reservations will be at least an hour. I would call now to see what's available. You may still be able to get reservations...you are going during a relatively slow period...and though TRex is popular, it is not on the Disney dining plan which may work in your favor. Your trip is during "free dining" so a lot of Disney diners will be heading for restaurants that are on plan.

Call T-Rex directly to secure your reservation. When we went last year, Disney had no availablity. When I called T-Rex, I had my choice of reservations. Apparently Disney is only given a handful of reservations per night/hour to book. T-Rex manages the rest.

Ditto on calling T-Rex directly. I couldn't get a reservation there through Disney but had no problem getting a prime time of my choice when I called directly.

We got reservations for just the time we wanted...thanks to the DIS boards!

Fiance made a reservation on line and it was very close to when we were landing. We were worried we wouldnt make it in time.

So I suggested he call the restaraunt directly. He did and we got a reservation for just the time we wanted.
