Do we need insect repellant in the parks?

All insects find my son YUMMY! Are they bad in the parks?

Only palce I've encountered any type of biting insects, around the pool and sand beaches. Seems them sand fleas or gnats, bite like he... and leave a very itchy bite. Mostly only on the lower leg, ankle part for us. Smear some ammonia on the bite takes the itch out but if we're going to be on a resort beach in the evening, we slather on some Avon bug juice.

Seems during the day, no critters, its just when the sun starts to set.

we didn't need any bug spray untill.......Fantasmic!!!!

While we were there the bugs or nats swarmed over every head and it was gross.

Itherwise the "disney bugs" stayed in Ak!!!!!

Here's a 2nd warning for Fantasmic. I thought that my dh was going to lose his mind. He was swatting at bugs like a maniac. I think that once the sun goes down and when you get in an area where maybe there is a crowd kind of sitting still is the only time we needed it.

I regreted not packing any for our trip and just returned and have several bites from inside the parks!@
