Do we need dinner resies?

Left two TS nights (dinners) open to try to wing it in early June. Realized I forgot WCC at Wilderness Lodge. Should I fill up those two nights and cancel if I need to? Or, do you think I could wing it while we are there in June?

As crowded as it's getting and as popular all these dining plans are, I'd suggest having ressies and if not needing them, cancel.

I agree that you should make the ADR and then cancel if you need to. That way you are assured to get in.

Guess it's better to have them, then to miss out on a restaurant.

How far out do you have to cancel though, without having a problem??

Unless you booked a meal that required a credit card to guarantee the reservation (like Cinderella's Royal Table or the Hoop De Doo Revue), there isn't any penalty if you don't cancel ADR's. They will tell you when you make the reservation that you have to cancel 24 hours ahead or risk a penalty.

Of course, I think it's very considerate to make the effort to cancel, and some lucky person who couldn't get in otherwise would probably appreciate it. But it's not required. :)

Book ADRs for both nights, whether you use them or not. It's always good to have a backup plan. I would book that WCC ADR ASAP. If your plans differ or if you decide that day that you don't want to dine at the ADR, then cancel. The last thing you want to happen is to have to wait 2 hours for a TS because you didn't dial 10 numbers in FEB. OR worse - have a TS left on your DDP when you leave because you dined at a CS.

If you are at all concerned about leaving your chances to find table service dining on those nights, I would make reservations and if you choose not to keep them, cancel them. Sometimes it is better to play it safe than be sorry.

When I called last night to add flights to my package:eek: the CM I spoke to must have told me atleast 4 times to book my ADRs for the end of July. I explained to her that I already booked all but 1 and she was trying to get me to book that one last night. SHe warned me that if you do not book ADRs then you might not get a table.
