Do we have any singers?

We have a thread here for dancers and fashion designers, so I thought I'd ask if anyone shares my favorite hobby! We do seem to have a bunch of musical theatre people here, after all. So, anyone like to sing?

I've been singing since I was in seventh or eighth grade, and I'm a freshman in college now, so that's quite a while ^^ I can sing anywhere from a contralto to a mezzo-soprano range, but my head voice really isn't all that great. Incidentally, I happen to have the exact range (low E below the staff to F on the top line) required to play Elphaba in Wicked, which is like my dream role.

I'll record a little sample of me singing when my microphone stops being stupid and recording a buzzing sound that's louder than I am. Raar. Feel free to do the same if you're comfortable with it! ^_^

i'm a singer. i've sang all parts in choir in one way or another. musical theatre is my prority, but i'm in choir, and hey, you gotta sing in musical theatre!

I love singing. I'm a musical theater person, and I love to sing in choir, as well. I've been taking voice lessons for.. 2 years or so now? I've improved a lot.
I have an extremely broad range, as well as the ability to hold my part. This Winter concert, my teacher had me singing 1st Soprano, 2nd Soprano, 1st Alto and 2nd Alto. He likes having me as an alto, particularly a 1st alto, since I can hold my part. I'm in the mixed choir and the Advanced Women's Choir, and hope to make teh advanced mixed choire next year, my junior year of high school. I would have made it this year if he hadn't had to curt the choir's size. Plenty of spots next year, though, as my sister (Senior next year) and a Sophomore will be the only girls left that Are currently in there.
Can't wait for the musical to start. I'm in Ensemble this production and I'm really excited.

i did chorus last year, but the teacher was horrible so i skipped out on it this year and i'm looking for a theatre near me where i can audition for a musical or something.
i mostly play the piano and sing, but i'm not very good, so i'll spare your ears by not posting anything, haha.

I sing! We have a choir at my school and we go caroling and do performances. I love to sing and to write songs. I love music and especially dancing<3 But singing is a close second.

I'm in my school's musical too We're doing Oliver! and I'm playing the Artful Dodger, I'm pretty excited.

my choir teacher sucks. we had auditions for of school musical the secret garden a month ago. everyon was telling me that i was going to get mary, the lead. my british accent is spot on, plus i'm a shorty, so i could play a little girl. i nailed my audition piece and was confident... i didn't even get cast!!!!!!! she cast a bunch of innexperianced students who where new/newer to theatre, giving the lead to a girl who had only been in one other show. the excuse i got was that i was 'over qualified' for the show!

I'm probably the only guy singer on here, but yeah I enjoy singing. I've always been a big music geek. I can't get enough of music and singing has always been my favorite part. I've sang in Chorus for four years and I've been in probably... eight plays and musicals (mostly musicals) never had a lead, like some minor solos, but "Fiddler on the Roof" is the Spring musical at school and auditions are this week, hoping for the part of Perchik. I'm a Baritone/Tenor. I need to practice my audition song more, though :B

Wish I'd thought to do that last year! I had to go a semester without singing because choir conflicted with one of my other classes >.<

All right, I broke out my webcam and did a couple performances because I love attention XD In case you guys haven't noticed, I have a bit of a thing for villains, so I decided to honor Disney's newest baddie. I can sing, if that counts... I used to be in choir when in primary school, but didn't do it in secondary school. I did use singing as my "instrument" for my music GCSE, but I gave up on that... So now I don't do anything with singing... Hmm.

I sing, not that I'm any good. I'm in Drama club and glee club at school. Last year our drama club did a musical but they let go the teacher who was the musical director, so not musical for us this year. Just a normal play

I enjoy singing as a hobby, too, except for the fact that I'm not really all that great and I'm not in choir, because of the fact that we had to choose between band and choir. If I wasn't in band, I would be in choir.

In band I play clarinet. I'm in my 4th year. I was one of the lucky ones to go to all-region tryouts, but I didn't make it.

Outside of band I play piano and guitar. I love my instruments a lot.
