do we hafta check our bag?

me and the bride can fit our stuff into one small bag (think airplane carry-on) for our 3 day wonder. do we hafta check our bag when we get to port? we're heading over from the poly, so we're probably only getting to port around noon or so.
can we just tote our bag to the welcome buffet and then head over to our room? or do they pretty much grab your bag and shuffle you off?

You may carry your bag on with you if you like.

Just be prepared to cart it around with you until your room is available.

If you don't mind doing that then go ahead.

Also it is very easy to check your luggage at the curb.

You just drop it off at the curb to the luggage porters and it will show up at your cabin door in a few hours, like magic
