Just wondering if we get breakfast when we land back at the Port when our curise is over or do we have to get off the ship right away as soon as we get there? :confused3

There IS breakfast...I don't think you can do room service but there is a sit down and the breakfast buffet!

Yep we get breakfast - usually it in the restaurant where you dined on Friday night - its not a full blown breakfast, limited menu, but a nice way to start your day and finish off you magical cruise.

Take Care! :cloud9:

Yes. There are two breakfast seatings in the dining room and a limited menu at Topsiders available before you disembark. The early seating breakfast is VERY early (6AM I think). We ate at Topsiders, didn't rush off the ship with the masses, and enjoyed a quiet morning before our trip home.

The early seating is 6:45am and the late one is 8am. It depends on whether you have early or late dining for the rest of week which one is yours.

JUST A NOTE RE: THIS FOR ANY CANADIANS. YOU HAVE TO BE AT CUSTOMS INSPECTION FOR 6:00AM, AND WE MISSED BKFST AT OUR DINING ROOM FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE. ALL CANADIANS MUST ATTEND, INCLUDING CHILDREN. THIS IS A VERY SLOW PROCESS. THIS WAS THE ONLY DOWNFALL TO OUR CRUISE 2 WEEKS AGO. FIRST SITTING FOR BKFST WAS 6:45, WE SHOWED UP IMMEDIATELY FROM CUSTOMS INSPECTION AND WAS TOLD WE MISSED OUR SITTING, WE SHOWED UP AT 7:15 AM. WE WERE TOLD WE COULD COME BACK FOR THE 8:00 AM SITTING . THE KIDS WERE HUNGRY AND TIRED, WE HAD TO FINISH PACKING UP, SO WE HIT THE BUFFET ON DECK 8 OR 9. KEEP THIS IN MIND.

thank God we have late seating then! Whew! I could never wake up that early and have an appetite!!! :cool1:

If you have late dinner seating, breakfast on disembarktion day is at 8am. It was a nice limited menu that was filling and a wonderful way to say good bye to your servers, and in our case fellow cruisers. Our own little 'Til we meet again' party.

the main dining disembarkment breakfast menu includes:
eggs cooked to the style of your choice
omletes
pancakes
bacon/sausage/hash browns
pastries and bread/toast slections
fruits, cereals, juices

Then there is a continental breakfast buffet at Beach Blanket/Topsiders which is a scaled down version of the breakfast buffets during the cruise, usually some eggs, bacon, hash browns, and pastries, etc.

Also there is early-bird coffee and pastries in the promanade lounge.

No room service is available the day you disembark.

I hear you KG66- my dh and the kids were not pleased with the wait, and theirs was only 45 minutes. I'm still a US citizen (even though I've lived in Ontario since 77) so I didn't have to go. He said that next time he'd wait until 6:30-6:45 then go down, at least then there wouldn't be a line-up.
We had breakfast at Triton's but as we didn't need to be off the ship in a hurry we went up to deck 9 afterwards for coffee and pastries and just took our time leaving.

We have a late flight out and the late breakfast seating. When do you have to be off the ship? Thanks!

Well that doesnt sound limited to me. That actually sounds very good! :dancer:

We always go to the sit down breakfast. I tell DH and DS to live it up because this is the last "free" meal of the vacation!!!

The early breakfast is the only problem I see with early seating. We're trying early dinner seating after 3 late seatings. I will probably have to pack DS in a rolling suitcase to get him to leave the room. He likes to stay up late because he's a cool teen. :cool1: But not so cool in the morning!!!

Last month was the first time we ever had early seating for dinner, so first time we had early disembarkation breakfast--the early Mickey wakeup call was harsh, yes, but getting off the ship and having my trunk packed and pulling out of the parking lot at 8:06 a.m. helped considering we had 500 miles to go.

And the pancakes were small and completely lacking in charm. So I'm going with the express breakfast in April.

You have to be off the ship by nine.

Re the customs thing - we were there at around 6am both times we've cruised and have never had a problem getting to breakfast. In fact we were lined up outside of Parrot Cay waiting for it to open at 6:45am. The line at customs moved fairly quickly both times too. Guess we got lucky.

THey like everyone off the ship by 9am. If you stay later, you have to help clean up the rooms!
