Ken Potrock the head of DVC, DVD, Adventures by Disney and Golden Oak is getting a new boss later this year. Seems like every time management changes, DVC changes. Anthony Connelly will be replacing Karl Holtz later this year.

There are many on the CEO track who are looking to make their mark. I know nothing about this Connelly person, but with any likelihood, this leadership transition will generate some degree of change. Hopefully it is to the benefit of members and not just The mother ship!

The mothership is always first and foremost in any VP/Pres mind 100% of the time. Any changes will only be good for the membership if it is better for Disney.

My view is that each brings their positives and negatives and that they have 2 masters. In many ways they're like a quarterback, they tend to get too much blame for issues and too much credit at times. That would be true IMO over my time with DVC including Jim Lewis.

Jim Lewis had a little too much Jim Lewis in his mind. He forgot about the company. That's one reason he's no longer there.

I haven't really noticed changes from exec to exec - except perhaps the Auluni dues issue - which didn't effect me.

Potrock made many changes, resort with studios only, member restrictions, member paid events, and member free events.
