Do tickets expire pre-use?

I've been thinking about buying our tickets now before they raise prices again (x2). I know the expire 14 days after 1st use, but would they expire before our trip next December?

Standard (magic your way) tickets do not expire prior to usage.

Many specialized tickets including Youth Education Series tickets (also used for cheerleaders, bands, etc.), U.K. 14 day unlimited tickets, convention tickets, most complimetary tickets, have absolute expiration dates printed on them.

Currently there are no tickets that expire specifically upon resort check out.

Regular Magic My Way tickets that you can buy at the Disney Store or order from WDW online will never expire before use. The tickets that have limitations are tickets such as the Military Salute, tickets for conferences, etc. Buying tickets early is a great way to spread out the cost. I don't know what your plans are but remember if you want to do an onsite package with dinning you need to buy tickets as part of the package.

Well, we've discussed the dining plans vs separating it all vs whatever and we're kind of "meh" about it. I've not really seen anything that was so drastically pro-package that it's made me say "nope, we've got to do a package plan", ykwim?

I can get a 7 day ph from our employer-perk people (tickets at work) for $285/adult. It's technically a buy 4/get 3 free deal. However, it's not *that* good of a deal that I'm 100% sold on it, but it def. sounds better to me than waiting and letting Disney up the price the next two years before we go.
