Do THVs or BLT have he washers?

I'm packing for my trip, and I have an HE washer at home, but I have a bottle of regular detergent that I keep for DVC trips. Then it struck me: I know they are putting HE washers in the common laundry space when they renovate some locations -- are they putting them in the new villas? Can anyone who's been to THV confirm or deny this?

Thanks.

I'm not sure what a HE washer is, but they looked like a regular stackable w/d
combo and we used our own Purex 3-in-1 sheet and it worked just fine. They supply you with a small box of Tide powder detergent which we did not use.
All the appliances in the kitchen were GE and I assume the W/D are GE as well.

Have a wonderful trip. We LOVED THV and cannot wait to stay there again.:thumbsup2

Sorry, HE is High Efficiency, and they need special, lower-foaming detergent. Front-loaders are HE, but mine at home is a top-loader, and it also needs HE detergent. But it sounds like the ones at THV are the regular kind.

Thanks for the tip about the Purex sheets -- I'm definitely going to buy that once my bottle of regular detergent runs out (since I can't use it at home)!

I should have been able to figure that out! Yes, the washer is a top-loader so your detergent should be just fine.

Have a blast and enjoy those beautiful Treehouses!:goodvibes

Like maburke said in the above post some top loaders are now HE. I would think the machine will be labeled HE, so to be safe double check it before you put in your soap. I research it and regarding machines can use HE detergent, so in the future you could buy HE detergent to be safe.

We stayed in the THV in June. The washers are the regular kind. You'll get the one box of powder Tide to use in it.

However, I believe in the handicap accessible THV units they are HE, or at least front loaders (are all front loaders HE, I don't know?). I remember seeing/reading that somewhere.

P.S. Have a wonderful trip! We loved the THV!
