Do they still send your tickets via email immediately after purchase?

I just went to buy our tickets online for tomorrow and I noticed a blurb that said that they might not be available for up to 24 hours after purchase. I've always bought our tickets online and received them right away in our email. Is this new?

I am trying to save a drive to the Disney store.
Any info appreciated.
Thanks!

I bought mine online from Disney and they arrived within an hour. They also linked to my account (using my email).

Would 24 hours make a huge difference? I guess maybe if you are going today or tomorrow, but other than that, shouldn't be a huge issue.

I noticed this 24 hour warning too when I went to buy mine less then 24 hours before we planned to go to the parks. The email came a minute later. I had talked to a CM on the phone before the purchase who said that they would be able to help us at the ticket window if we did not receive the email in time. As long as we brought the appropriate documents to support the proof of purchase.

FWIW, when I’ve bought them online for friends, it’s sometimes taken as long as an hour to get them via email. I suspect they say 24 hours to give them ample time. It’s not unlike how standby wait-times are nearly always overestimated - so when the wait times are less than expected, guests feel like they’ve received some kind of bonus :-).
