Does security still search your bags before you enter a park?

Yes, they set up permanent stations in most areas.
A pain in the neck, but worth it.

They aren't very thorough but they pretend to search the bags. Doesn't take long unless there are strollers and diaper bags in line ahead of you.

They seemed to go really quickly through some bags and take their time with others. I have a small bag with lots of pockets but they only looked through the main pouch. Meanwhile, security went through every pocket of my boyfriend's backpack.

The security checks are still being done at all the parks. It goes pretty smoothly although I wouldn't say it was very thorough. We were at WDW over Memorial Day weekend when the nationwide security was at the ORANGE level. I thoughtt he security checks were even less than two visits at the end of last year. I suppose it makes guests feel better.

I really don't care how thorough they are. I was just curious so I know so I can get there sooner or something. thanks for the help
