Do they still pass out lei’s At Disney polynesian resort ?

we are going to be eating breakfast at Ohana late December and this will be our first trip to Ohana and to see the polynesian resort. I think it would be fun for the kiddos to to wear a lei but did not know if I should go out and buy/make one or do they pass them out at the resort or breakfast?

The only time we've gotten them is when we did the Spirit of Aloha dinner show.

I've never received a lei at Poly unless we're checking in to stay there or attending SOA. If you really want them, I would plan on bringing them.

We used to get them every time we ate at Ohanas for dinner and breakfast. Now that I think about it we haven't gotten any in a few trips.

We received leis when we had dinner at Ohana in April 2017.

We didn't receive leis when we stayed at the Polynesian in October 2013.

We got leis when we checked in last month at the Poly. But they are fake plastic flower leis, left them in the room when we checked out.

I found that the material of these leis would fragment and the little fibers would fall all over the place.

We got leis in the lobby when we went to Ohana in October. But like someone else pointed out, they're the $.99 kind that leave fuzzies everywhere. If you want something nicer, bring it.

Yes, there is an artisan making fresh flower leis by hand. I think they were maybe $20 each? Not sure of the exact pricing.

We’ve always gotten them when checking in and also when just dining. We just had to ask. They are fun but kinda itchy. We hang them in our room as decorations when at the Poly!
