Do they provide towels at Blizzard Beach?

The last time we were there, they were charging for towels. I can't remember how much, just a couple bucks, but the line to get them went on forever....

I will definately bring my own next time.

You need to rent at the water parks. If you can bring your own you can save yourself some time and money.

But they do sell nice big beach towels at the water parks if you didn't get any at the parks. We have a stack of beach towels that we always bring with us. We always stay in a DVC one bedroom villa, so we have the washer and dryer available.

I always ask for extra towels in my hotel room just to take with me to Blizzard Beach or typhoon Lagoon. It's just one less thing you have to pay for... And stand in line for! :Pinkbounc

We always pack our crummiest beach towels to take with us. They're not as fluffy as new ones so they don't take up too much room in our suitcases. This lets us avoid waiting in line and makes it easier to spot our chair in a sea of white towels. And if someone takes them (they never have) it won't be a big loss. However if someone takes your rented towel, the water parks will not replace it.

Towel rentals are only $1.00, though they are not huge. But we usually just bring our own.

My husband thought I was crazy to pack beach towels in our luggage (we were flying), but I was really happy to have them. We used them at the hotel pool (we stayed at the Pop Century and they do not have towels at the pool) as well as the water park and just hung them up in the rooms if damp. I never had to worry about having enough dry hotel towels in the morning when we were showering.

Last week we went to both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.

Towels are $1 each at both parks.
Lockers $7 (you get $2 back when you return your key or you get a drink mug).
Life Jackets are free, but you have to leave a room key or credit card.

We arrived at both parks at 10am, and there was no line for the rental shacks.
