Do They Not Give the Disney Wedding Certificates anymore?

Hi girls & boys! I have seen in pictures with previous brides that Disney gave them some kind of Wedding certificate. Do they not do that anymore? I did not get one and i was curious if any other recent brides got one?

i got one at my intimate on nov 21st 2005. my coordinator presented us with it during the cake cutting bit

We got one at our Intimate too. Our EM gave it to us while we were taking pictures and they took several pictures of us with the certificate.

Not sure if they stopped doing this?

hmm...wonder if they only do that at the intimates? I am not sure why that would be. Anyone here get one at a custom wedding?

Hello there.
My wedding was last month 12/16/05. We got a wedding certificate.
Definitely contact your wedding coordinator.
She will and should get you one. Especially if she wants a good report from you on their after wedding survey,
It shouldn't be a problem...they just print them out.

Last I knew the certificate was for intimates only. I think at some point custom brides got them as well, but that was a few years ago. We didn't get one at our June '04 wedding.

We didn't get one either... just the awesome gift from DTFW. And no, I am not telling.

Our wedding was 9/20/2005 and we didn't get one...

I figured it was because ours was "technically" a vow renewal, then I thought what difference did that make?!?!?!

I never asked about it, but I know it was something I was looking forward to.

It's probably too late to ask about it now!

It may be just an Intimate thing? We got the certificate and a wonderful surprise gift

The certificate is cute, but my maiden name was too long to fit on it with my DH's name, so part of it is printed outside the border and it doesn't look too great like that. I'm still happy to have it though!

My wedding was about as "intimate" as it gets....just me and my DH, the officiant, the violinist, the coordinator, and some CM who was there to serve the drinks...no certificate...

maybe I'll give my coordinator a call...

I would, I just checked the package elements under the Intimate Vow Renewa and it stated one of them being "A Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Wedding Certificate" .

I sent my EM an email yesterday...I'll let you all know what happens...it might be too late since our wedding was four months ago (today!).

Being an Intimate bride, I got both the certificate and the DFTW gift (not saying what - it was a wonderful surprise!) so I'm not sure why other Intimates didn't get a certificate? Did other Intimates get the gift?

Yes we did. It wasn't much of a "surprise" for me though...for one thing, I think one of the CM's told me over the phone when we first started the process, and it was listed on our paperwork.

Yeah, not that it is any big deal but it does seem kind of strange that intimate brides would get both but not custom brides. Oh well no biggie, wonder if i should ask my EM anyways and see what she says? Maybe they will send you one if you ask for it?

Yeah, unfortunetly we saw our "surprise" gift in a video from STVS while planning. No big deal but I just wonder how many brides knew what the gift was before hand some how or other?

I had no idea what the gift was. I hadn't found this Board before the wedding but I'm sure there are pictures on here somewhere, I know there were some taken at our ceremony, and our EM didn't say anything. I was happy not to know - I love surprises (my proposal was a surprise)

I'm not sure if the intimate gift is the same as the custom, but our's was no surprise either because it was listed on our hotel confirmation as apart of one of our package elements.

We did get the certificate too! I think everyone should get this because it makes a wonderful keepsake.
