as small bracelets that you can write your cell phone number on in case your kids get separated from you. Our three year won't stay in her stroller, screams when you leash her and we were wondering if she had her Mom's and grandfather's phone numbers written down on her we would feel safer.

My aunt made a dog tag necklace for my daughter for Disney. It was really cute. It had pluto on the front, then she had her phone number engraved on the back. I believe she got it at Walmart.

I made my own id tag for my then 3yr old son and attached it to a fun Disney lanyard. It was really simple. I brought my son to Home Depot's paint department where he could select the paint chip/color Mickey head card. (Or if you or a friend have a Cricut with the Mickey font cartridge, you can make a mickey head.) I took a recent photo of him, placed it on the card with his contact information, (You may have to trim the card down.) and laminated it with the laminate sheets you can find in an office supply store. I found them in Walmart. They are also available in wallet sizes. Lastly, I punched a hole in the card and attached it to the lanyard using a keyring. He got a kick out of it because he was a part of making it. He ended up using the lanyard quite a bit too because we ended buying a mickey fan to keep cool.

Hope this helps!

You could also do a sticker, a shoe ID tag, or a marker. I didn't do anything last trip, but I'd have to if we were going now.

Check out silicone/rubber braclets at shanrene.com. For less than $10 including shipping, I had them print mom & dad's cell phone numbers on fun rubber bracelets. Kids can wear on wrist or ankle.

Do you know anyone that works in a hospital? A medical band would work great and they are generic, just write down your name and number, slide it in the plastic slot and attach it to your child.

I ordered braclets from sharene also. They came very quickly, I highly recommend them. they are inexpensive and look great. They come in youth and adult sizes, the youth is a little big for my 4 year old, she's petite but I plan on putting them on her ankle. There are also alot of colors to choose from

We've seen small children in the parks with a plain white sticker on their back (so they forget it's there and won't pull it off) that just said, "my mom's cell # is xxx-xxxx"

We bought shoe tags from www.whosshoesid.com (less than $10 for 2). They are velcro and attach to shoes, belt loops, etc. You write your name and ph # on the inside. The kids like them.........they're kinda like another accessory.

We used idonme the first year and found that they tended to pop open, allowing the information inside to fall out. Not good. Last year I went to the craft store and bought a cheap jewelry kit and actually made bracelets and necklaces with our info on it. I allowed the kids to help, so they really felt some ownership of them and wore them happily. You can custom tailor the size to the kid, they're waterproof, and easy to replace if lost. In fact, we took extras just in case, but our kids (4 and 2 at the time) never lost them. We got a lot of comments on them while we were there.
