Do they have member update meetings every week?

We're leaving on Friday for our first trip home to BWV! I remember reading they have member update meetings. Will they have one when we are there? We arrive next Friday and returning the following Saturday. Would love to attend one if it's worthwhile......

I've always thought the term Update was misleading as they hardly ever really have any updates about DVC. Mostly they talk about how you can use your points for non-DVC stays and such.

Any 'updates' about SSR or the pool at OKW or anything else will never be anything more than what Disney has already publically announced.

This board is a much better source for DVC updates than any of the member meetings.

The meetings are held at 8:00 am at both resorts. They usually have doughnuts,pastries,coffee,etc at them.

We got back from 8 days at OKW 2 weeks ago and attended all 3 member updates that were held while we were there.
I found them very useful with more general information and less 'selling' than in the past. All 3 meetings were crowded with standing room only at the 2 at OKW. I would say try one, it can't hurt and you may find out more information. I know that I found out new things and I posted them here as soon as I returned. Have fun!
