Do they give out bread/rolls at Le Cellier?

The title says it all, but if they do, is it included with the meal (a la Outback or Tony Romas) or is it a separate side order? in advance!!!

Yes they give you breadsticks!! Apparently there is a story to go with them (about them representing different parts of Canada or something..?) but our server didn't go into to. We asked for more when we ran out and he gave them to us for free.

Yes, very good! When planning this trip to go back, and to my surprise, my kids asked to go back here (they asked for the place with the good bread). At the time, they didn't seem that excited about it (even though they enjoyed it), and right after that week, it wasn't in their top 3. But the bread-sticks stuck with them, so to speak , and now Le Cellier is 2nd only to 'Ohana to them. Go figure.

The pretzel bread is awesome! We didn't get the "story of the bread", either. We figured it was because we were Canadian, and they decided we didn't need to hear it!

OMG- the bread there is fantastic!!!!!!! You have to dip the pretzel bread in the cheddar beer soup!!!! I am getting hungry just thinking about it!!

We got the story with the breadsticks, about where each of the different ones come form, or where in Canada they represent. They are really reason enough for me to go back. They are soooo good. Those hot pretzel breadsticks with butter are the best. P.S. We got refills too

I guess the pretzel breadsticks are okay if you're into pretzels, but I love, love, love the sourdough breadsticks. I could have made a meal off of just those and my cheddar cheese soup! By the way, I dipped my breadstick into the soup as many suggest, but found that it's so much better with the delicious sweet butter on it.

The pretzel breadsticks are fantastic. They are so good that we always have to ask for more. They are really good to dunk in the chedder cheese soup.
