Do they ever reverse EMH

I had a 8:15 am for Tusker house while park opened at 9, now of course they open at 8 (lucky me). Also had a 8:10 for CRT now park opens at 8 am as well. Obviously i am gonna keep CRT unless i can find a Dinner (yeah right LOL) but I am on the fence with Tusker. I just wanted to take advantage of the 8 am BF. We are staying onsite so we can get in at 8 anyways but... you know... So if I cancel the Tusker house they won't reverse it back to 9 am at some time right? (It's on the 25 of May) I don't think so but I dont wanna cancel and then kick myself if they would. Thank you guys!!!!

Nevermind they changed hours so they are not EMH. Great, I guess they wont change it back either way. That feeling of accomplishment when I scored those ADR's went down the drain. Sucks when they do that. You gotta plan ahead like a you are a fortune teller and then they trow something like that at you!!! I am force to make up my mind why can't they. No fair

I feel your pain!!! I had an 8:10 at CP for a 9 am opening. I canceled because the park now opens at 8 am. I was bummed too.

We had an 8am Crystal Palace once and they did the same time change that day in MK. It totally ruins the early ADR score. We just kept the reservation.

I Know! Doesn't mean that I like change though LOL. I see it that way... I save myself some money and someone else can enjoy eating there now! We had Tusker for BF, Sanna for Lunch and Yak and Yeti for Dinner. I had a problem with having 3 TS on one day and couldn't decide I didn't want to let go of either. Decision was made for me now.

I totally agree with that sentiment.

One small silver lining........You should still get to experience a near empty Main Street (not sure how empty now that they added all those BOG people). On the day this happened for us, they still let us in around 7:45 so we got photos on Main Street before the rush of humanity bore down upon us.

Happened to me to last year, and I dumped our early reservations. I feel your pain.

My advice would be: Don't get too caught up in keeping something just because it was hard to get, or you had your heart set on it. Try to make the best plan for the hours as they are now. It's hard, I know ....

I just wanted to get some food other than regular burgers, bacon and eggs etc. My Family is picky, what I like they don't so I try to find restaurants that offer food I can try and food I know they will eat. I was born and grew up in Germany we went to a different restaurant every weekend, all kinds of stuff and cuisines. Went to places in Europe on vacation etc. Now that I live here (no offense but everything is very americanized, at least where I live - Walmart Capital in Arkansas) for the life of me I can't find anything but the usual and it's mostly chain restaurants. I wanted Tusker House for getting in early, not wasting park time in the morning and to try new food but since it was a buffet (even though I don't like them) I knew my family would find at least something... I did let it go though. I can't justify the cost just for me to try Bobotie and Mealie pap and we don't need the Characters that bad. Unfortunately I am a terrible cook, trust me I tried lol. So I have to rely on restaurants if I want special things. But what you gonna do... lol I wish my budget would allow me to eat at V&A but my son is too young and I would like my 14 yo daughter to go. So leaving him out would suck and I just cant pay 600+ for one meal without having a special occasion. Well, my daughter is going on a Volunteer trip to Africa next year with GLA. Maybe I'll just join her lol. How much more authentic can it get, right? Thanks for your replies. Made me feel better

Oh my ignorance lol. They get me that way. "Let's call grits Mealie pap some sucker will think that's exotic..." YEP that sucker is gonna be me. See I wasn't lying. I like eating good food but I have no idea how to make it or what it is most of the time!

The restaurant in the Beach Club has grits too, I am pretty sure.

The grits at The Wave are amazing.
