Do they do dinner at Ariel's Grotto on short nights?

I want to take my DD to Ariel's Grotto for dinner on her birthday. Her birthday is on a Wednesday and DCA will probably be closing at 6pm. Does Ariel's Grotto still do dinner on these nights when the park closes at dinner time? Also is it possible to order a brthday cake for after dinner? What should I expect at a birthday durring a character dinner? Do the CM's help sing Happy Birthday? Thanks!

We were there in November when the park closed at 6. I was told the last seating was 4:50. They noted it was DD's b-day when I made the PS, but I had to remind the server that it was her b-day. They brought her out a little brownie and sang happy birthday.
