Do they do anything special for birthdays?

You can arrange for special birthday celebrations here at Disneyland or WDW, but can you do that at DLP? My son will be turning 6 and we would like to do something special for him at the park if there is something available...

If you know of anything, let me know...

Thanks,

you can book a birthday cake at a character meal.

They have birthday tea at Plaza Gardens everyday at 3pm and 4.30pm that runs alongside the afternoon tea. Everybody gets to have the tea and on top of that the child gets a choc Mickey cake to eat with their guests (and take away) and a bag of presents (Which seemed to have a small plush Mickey in it) and some other stuff and a card that all the characters sign on the day if you want.

We took our DD last year but she was still really wary of the characters but I'm sure your DS would love it. :thumbsup2

And I do that every time for my B'Day :wizard:

It is a lot of fun with CM's singing and 1 character coming to you for the extra picture... I am such a kid myself... it is going to be my B'day next month, guess what I am going to do.... :goodvibes

You can also have a birthday cake in some of the table service restaurants, you order it a the start of your meal, I'm not sure which of the restaurants you can do this at, definately at the Blue Lagoon as that's where I'm planning to have my birthday celebration.
For your little one the Plaza Gardens Birthday Party might be the better option because you have the characters there as well. :Pinkbounc

Oh, that sounds *perfect*! Is that something I could arrange for the day before? Or would I have to arrange for it way in advance? Or?

I think this is what we'll do for *my* birthday! :teeth:

There were no birthday pins at my Bday... Quite actually, they looked at me like "what is she talking about???", it was a real bummer. Thank Gawd Mickey gave me a big Bday hug!

It is my understanding that, culturally, birthdays are not that big a deal in France, and I have seen online complaints about not being wished a happy one with a smile by most DLP CMs. I hesitate to say this because it's not from firsthand experience, but it may be worth adjusting your expectations compared to what you'd experience at DL or WDW.

Cheers.
