Do they always exclude THV's from codes?

I've gotten like 8 pin codes since January and every one of them excludes THV's. My DH is willing to pay full price to stay at a THV but I'd really like a discount since it's crazy priced, imo, especially for September. Has anyone ever stayed in a THV and got a discount or FD or anything?

The THV would be included in a discount for Saratoga Springs because they are part of that resort, IMO.

Unfortunately this is not the case.

Select room types and categories are not included in most promos and the THV are included in that.

Why? Because the demand for them is high and therefore there is no need to heavily discount them most times of year.

There have been offers that included the THV, but they are precious few and far between.

I've seen them available with an AP discount from time to time.

Last Thanksgiving we received the $500.00 gift card for our dd's reservation. I figured that was about a 1-night stay. AAA offered a 1-night stay discount that I wasn't able to use.
I think it just depends...

My neighbors booked the free dining offer (that expired Dec 20) and THV were available for their Feb trip that they just returned from. When booking their reservation I asked if they had any PIN codes, and they did for 40% off but THV was excluded. Since Free Dining saved them $50 over the 40% and they really wanted THV that's what they went with.

well I'm hoping they offer free dining and we can get in on it for September, that would be great. Anything is better than nothing!

I had a pin code that expired yesterday that was good for the THV. It was the room only discount (I think the villas were 40%). I think when you don't find the rooms available, then they are more than likely sold out. We looked at staying there when I saw the discount price but then decided that they were "too far away" from the action.

I have 4 email accounts between me and DH and I had 2 sent to each one! Hopefully I will when they come out for September too, I just don't know if it will work for the THV's. I really hope so!
