Do they accept the Disney gift card?

Hoping the experts here can help me since the gift card people seem clueless.
We purchased a "Disney gift card" at Walgreens to send down with my daughter who is going on a class trip this week. Is that accepted in the restaurants (especially the walk up type) throughout the parks. When I called the number on the back they said they couldn't tell me.

They take them at most places, there is a little sign by the counters. The only place we ever had trouble was at some of the little carts.

As far as I know, they're good for most everything purchased from Disney, be it a store, restaurant, food, even park admission.

We just returned last week and I had no problem using our gift cards at all. I never tried at the carts so I can't give an answer.

If the carts and kiosks do not have a card scanner they will not be able to accept gift cards. Some of them do not. There are also some kiosks in Epcot and on the Boardwalk that are not operated by Disney and don't accept Disney gift cards.
