For 2 adults, (1) 3yo & (1) infant. I got a quote from AAA for 5 days / 4 nights at Caribbean beach standard room with 3 day park hoppers for $1,117.86 including tax.

For All Stars Music, 5 days/4 nights standard room with 3 day park hoppers $907.64 including tax.

Do these prices sound right? I thought they were a little high.

Rack rate for the All Stars resort should be $357.12 with tax standard view... the rest they are charging are for tickets... that sounds high to me too

Thanks, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought they sounded high. I have to do a little more research.

Start your research on this sites home page, then go to mousesavers.com & between the 2, you should be able to come up with figures for your room & tickets then compare them with what was offered to you. Good luck, sometimes half the fun is this part of it.... ;) After doing your research, you feel that you can make an "informed" decision.... :goodvibes

First question....does your three day park hoppers have the plus feature? (You can use the water parks?) Also do they expire or are you getting the non-expireing ones?

All-Stars for 4 nights is $357 like the previous poster said.

3-day Park hoppers, no plus, expire in 14 days are 219.39
3-day Park hoppers, with two plus, tickets do not expire are $277.97

SO if you add the $357.08 + 277.97 +277.97 =913.02
Not sure how AAA came up with $907 for you. If you called Disney and booked room yourself you could ask for the AAA discount and it should be 20% off the room rate. $79-20%($15.80)=63.20 plus tax (8.21)=$71.41
and 71.41 times four nights is $285.64 (a savings of $71.44)

The AAA office should be able to give you the AAA rate if it is available at the resort you want to stay at. But I have always had better luck calling myself.

I used Mousesavers for the AAA discount info http://www.mousesavers.com/disneyresorts.html#AAA

and used ALLEARSNET.com for the ticket prices
http://www.allearsnet.com/pl/ticketchart.htm

I hope that helps you. Let us know if you have any other questions.

We're staying at POFQ for 7 nights in January with 7-day Park Hopper Plus tickets and our total was around $1385 with the AAA discount. That's just $200 more than what you were quoted for around half the time.

Try calling Disney direct and asking for the AAA discount. That's what I did. While I technically wasn't able to get a package, I did get each of the elements that we wanted and when I went to AAA to see what they could get me, I was given the exact same rate so going with a AAA package didn't change anything.

Very often AAA will automatically add in trip insurance to your quote. Ask if it was included. Also ask for the discounted rate.

Thanks everyone. The trip insurance wasn't included beacuse she did ask if I wanted it and the tickets were just 3 day park hoppers, not with the plus feature. Maybe I spoke with an idiot. I will call Disney directly and I think I will visit my local AAA office to talk to someone in person. I think I may wait to book anything till November to see if any codes come out. Thanks again!!
