Do taxis line up at SeaWorld

I am really, really nervous about our upcoming trip - we're staying at AKL, but spending 2 days off-site, one at SeaWorld and one at Busch Gardens. I've already decided it will be easier to just take a taxi TO SeaWorld on the day we go there AND to the SeaWorld bus stop the day we catch the Busch Gardens shuttle. However, I'm scared about getting back to Disney. I know LYNX has a bus that goes from SeaWorld to the Disney Ticket & Transportation Center; but I'd rather take a cab back then take the bus, then catch the monorail, then get on another bus.

So...do taxis line up at the SeaWorld bus stop? Is there a pay phone there to call for one? I'm such a chicken; I'm already having nightmares about not being able to get back to the hotel. :confused3

Unless you're a very timid driver, you'd probably just be better off renting a car for a few days. I don't know how much you're spending for the Busch Gardens shuttle, but it's an easy drive from Orlando.

Rentals are so cheap in Orlando and it's SO much more convenient to have your own wheels. Even getting around Disney parks it seems simpler to me just to hop in the car and drive there. I hate waiting for those Disney buses, especially at peak times when you have to wait for more than one.

Renting a car is NOT an option - we are not good with directions, and the reason we love WDW is the transportation. The shuttle is only $10 round trip. I'm not concerned with the cost of the taxi, just the accessibility of one.

Fear not, you won't be stranded! I don't remember a taxi rank at Seaworld but you won't have trouble calling a cab. Get a phone number from your morning taxi driver and ask him/her about the chances of catching a taxi without calling when you leave. If the driver recommends calling, use a pay phone when you're ready to leave the park... I know I found some near washrooms at Seaworld last year, and there are certainly some at Guest Services.

We went to Sea World during out October trip. I asked bell hop at hotel (POR) to call me a taxi to go to SW. I asked for a taxi phone number to call upon return. POR told me there would be plenty of taxi's. My being nervous, said, just humor me and give me a phone number. We left Sea World. Walkd to the right, and there were taxi drivers fighting over our trip. It was not too busy at SW on Monday in October. Maybe during busier times it would be a little more difficult, or maybe a little bit of wait.

I remember when we left Sea World last year that taxis were lined up. We were taking the shuttle back to our hotel but we knew if it took too long we could get a taxi easily.
