Hi all
So I am looking to book our transfers for our November/December trip. I was thinking of using Super Shuttle. Before we go to Anaheim we will be spending a few days in West Hollywood - I can get a Super shuttle from LAX to there no problems.
After that we will be going to the Hojo. I was wanting to get a supershuttle from Hollywood to the Hojo but when I go to their website it seems to only want to give quotes to or from airports. So it makes me wonder if they only transport to/from airports, or can I get transfers from hotel to hotel?
I am hoping that someone might know the answer so I don't need to call them.
Thanks

Aussiegirls - Hi!
Okay, about Super Shuttle...it's tricky. They can do what you need, but it can't be handled online. You will need to call them, and I know that's a pain in the butt because of the time difference where you are.
What you need to do is ask for the desk/office/department that handles "point to point" service. Whenever you have an order like what you need - which involves going from Point A to Point B with no stop at an airport - that's point-to-point. I did this last year. I needed them to pick me up at home in West Hollywood/Beverly Hills area (probably close to where you will be) and take me down to the GCH. Super Shuttle sent out a vehicle (it was an ExecuCar or Express Shuttle vehicle, but they operate under Super Shuttle) to get me. They were on time and got me there quickly. ,It was actually cheaper than what they had originally quoted me because they sent the other vehicle and not a straight Super Shuttle van but I knew in advance what they were sending me - they were very good about telling me exactly what vehicle to look for, the color of it, the number on the outside of it, etc.
You have to pay in advance, and they add on gratuity to your total so you don't have to tip the driver when he drops you off.
In fact, I may be doing a point-to-point order again very soon (either this month or in early December). It's expensive, but it's better than a taxi company, which won't give a flat rate and the fare could climb to ridiculous heights!
Also, the driver I had last year gave me some of his business cards and asked me to refer people to him. He has a "side shuttle business" and was willing to take me (if I need another point to point) for less than what I paid Super Shuttle. I paid about $106 to go
one way down to Anaheim (but if they had sent a straight Super Shuttle van it would have been $130). The driver said he would give me a rate of $60 if I need to do it again - I have not called him yet to take him up on it, though. But I probably will call and see if the offer still stands. If you want his phone number I can give it to you - just PM me. Otherwise, make sure to call Super Shuttle and ask for the point-to-point desk.
Good luck!!
