Do Studios connect?

Haven't been yet - Planning for April

We are considering 2 studios (to save a few points) rather than getting a 1 bdrm.

Do they connect at BWV? How about any other resort!

That Statement is Incorrect --

I know for a fact that HH has two studios that connect to each other (part of an accessible 3 bedroom). I recall hearing of a few other odd room connections elsewhere but I have not seen them nor do I recall where they were.

Generally, studios, if they're connected, are connected to one-bedroom units. While there are apparently a few exceptions, the number is so small that I wouldn't plan on requests for connecting studios to be honored.

We'll also be booking two studios for next June shortly at BCV, one for my wife and I and one for son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren. We're doing it for privacy, and also because it's fewer points than a two-bedroom unit, which I believe is necessary for more than four people. Isn't four supposed to be the occupancy limit for both a studio or one-bedroom, or does it vary from resort to resort?

You can get 5 into a BWV studio plus but they are not guaranteed. With 6 people, you definitely need a 2 bedroom or 2 studios. A studio only has a queen bed & double sleeper. The BWV studio plus also has a small daybed.

Four in a studio or one bedroom at all DVC resorts. The exception being the 'studio plus' at BWV. THese have a daybed and can sleep five if the fifth is a small child. These can no longer be guaranteed, so I am not sure what good they do.

Four or five people with one bathroom doesn't work for me.

SamS.... I know that at BCV you can get 2 studios next to each other. They will not have a connecting door between them, but they will be right next to each other. Of course, this is not gauranteed, just thought I would let you know it is possible and there are several of them throughout the resort.

Thanks for the heads-up! I'll begin calling on a day-by-day basis beginning Monday for the one studio, then call for two studios on the 21st. I'll have them note on the ressie that I'd like side-by-side studios if they are available. "Non-smoking" will be first preference, but it doesn't hurt to ask for side-by-side, or at least two studios not far from each other.

in all but oKW - you can get them across from each other - that pretty close.
