My college friend (will call her Monica) and her new husband manipulated their flights and had an all day layover here in St. Louis. They were just married this past Valentine Day and this was the first time I met this guy. They wanted to do a little shopping so we took them to our local Mills Mall. Monicas husband picked up several pieces of clothing with pink in them. He purchased a dress shirt (baby pink), and a tie with pink in it. He also purchased some 'kick around' shirts with pink stripes on them. Monica said that he loves pastel colors. My DH being the 'manly man' he is, was really tripping about this. He never said anything to his face but he whispered 'WTH' to me a couple times.
After we dropped them off at the airport he continued to go on and on about how 'gay' her husband was. Although I can tell that he's not a 'masculine' kind of guy, I wouldn't call him 'soft' either. He just seemed 'high-maintenance' to me. For example, when we picked them up from the airport we were shocked that he had 2 pieces of luggage. The pieces were his very expensive Louis Vutton luggage. According to Monica, he never checks his luggage (as he travels often). Now my friend checked her luggage in (she said she packed her clothes in their regular luggage). Now, I am NOT homophobic, nor is my husband, but we were just wondering is PINK in for men OR is it possible that this guy might be on the down low.
