I was checking on a one-night reservation for Oct. 6 today. I had a 1-night reservation at the All-Stars because we are arriving a day earlier than originally expected. I've only been checking on this night for a few days because I just recently realized I didn't want the hassle of taking a bus to MGM and walking to the BWV to check in the next morning.
Anyway, I asked for a studio at either BWV or BCV and the CM said there was one at BCV. I was just about to book it when she asked me to wait a minute - that she was going to see if she could get the BWV since my next reservation is there. I was on hold for a minute or two and she came back and said she had a pref. view studio at BWV. I thought that was a bit strange, but I was very happy to hear it. So, why the "on hold" time? If there was availability, wouldn't it have just showed up? I'm wondering if she was checking to see if she could put the room from CRO or something...that's my only guess. I was VERY happy this happened because I'm so close to the 7 day cancellation deadline for the All-Stars.
