Do problems with 180+10 = problems with FP+?

Today is our 180+10 date and I duly logged on to MDE at 11 am to make the dining reservations for our 8 day trip (we are staying at AKL). The first reservation (the 180 day one) went fine but when I moved to the second date it initially said there was some kind of error with the reservation system and availability for that date could not be found. I searched again and it found availability around the time I had entered but when I clicked on the time I got another error message and it failed to book. All the dates of my stay were hi lighted on the calendar but I couldn't book for any of them. The app was worse - it wouldn't let me click past the 180 day mark at all. I was a bit disappointed as I have never had any luck booking the 180+10 online and I was hoping that MDE would change that. However, I called at midday and got all the reservations I wanted and they are now showing at MDE so no harm done.

What I am a bit worried about is the FP+ selection when it's time for that as, and correct me if I'm wrong as it will be the first time I will have booked this, you can't call up if it fails online.

That in mind has anyone had a similar problem with their 180+10 dining reservations but made their 60 day FP+ reservations okay or is there a problem with the reservation in MDE and should I call somebody now to sort it?

I had the same problem which you described when booked ADRs for our Easter trip. Some dining reservations were accepted but with others I received the error message. I finally called WDW dine to confirm my final two. This happened when I also booked our summer trip but I was able to book FPs without any problem so fingers crossed that you should be fine.

Thanks, I was hoping that may be the case so will keep my fingers crossed like you said!

I had the exact same problem as you when booking my ADRs, but booked all of my FP+ with no problems :)

Thank you, it's good to hear that this has happened to others!

I thought from things I had read in the past that the online dining was more successful now (it's never worked for me!) but maybe I misread? The main thing is the FP+ should work so I appreciate you letting me know :thumbsup2
