Do park closing hours ever change?

We are going the last full week in August and the parks are closing at 7pm. Seems kinda early to me, but maybe that means the crowds will be low. Do they ever stay open later than the calendar states?

Usually the crowds have died down by the end of August, but I have seen park hours change closer to the date. I've even seen them change when I get there and they've extended an hour. But for the most part, they're accurate for the last week of August.

Remember...a lot is going to depend on how the crowds are for WWoHP. I think we could possibly see 9pm closing if the crowds are still coming...and I think they will. We'll have to wait and see.

Very true. I love the parks after dark so I'm hoping.

I hope they change too, we usually hit Florida in the Fall, which is awesome but US/IOA usually close earlier.
The last trip, we went in July and my hubby and I were so excited to ride
Ripsaw Falls and Jurassic Park at nite, we talked about it for years
But then in the summer, it rains, ALOT :goodvibes
SO we still never got to ride those at nite, ONE DAY!!!!! :lmao:

We still had a blast in the rain, the 4 of us walked around in our ponchos,
rode Spiderman and Cat in the Hat over and over, got ice cream, hung out in
the Jurassic Park Play area ( in the caves) and pretty much had the park to
our selves. Oh, and I got to ride The Hulk, before leaving, it was the last train of the nite, there were maybe 10 of us on there, and coming back into an empty train station was cool!

They changed while we were there the last week of August 2010.
