Do not go see My Sister's Keeper....

I refuse to go because of the huge departure from the book. I loved the book. Heard the movie has a completely different ending. Therefore, I'm not going.

Movie is different from the book, but still good. I saw it last night and didnt cry a drop.:confused3

i really want to see this movie,
just a quick (somewhat strange) question... i know the general idea of the movie and was just wondering if there are alot of needles in the movie?

Weird question I know but I have this weird phobia of seeing needles/ivs being injected :confused3 like to the point it makes me all sweaty and anxious.

I only remember one maybe....but there was a scene with doing a bone marrow procedure on a little girl, they didnt show much but you could tell they were SHOVING the big needle in her hip.

There was also some blood and vomit.:scared1:

I loved the book, but after seeing the movie yesterday honestly felt the ending in the film was much better in that medium.

A film adaptation will never be exactly the same as the book, things don't always translate well. Apart from the ending they kept as well to the book as they could, they even kept up the idea of narration from the different characters.

The new ending for the film fits very well IMO, and didn't hamper my enjoyment (beneath buckets of tears) of it. SO please please don't go just for this reason give it a try :)

I saw it last night! Loved it and I thought Cameron Diaz was great! Lots of tears in the theater.
