RIP-OFFS. There are quite a few online shops out there that are selling budget watches at outrageous prices. Like a selection of Poedagar watches - AliExpress price, about £15 - dodgy online shop price - £80. Or how about another site? They sell budget watches worth about £15-£20 for literally HUNDREDS of dollars. They don't even blank out the brand name. How people can get away with this is beyone me. Educate your friends - tell them about sites like AliExpress and Temu before they break a limb or something. Case in point, attached - a Poedagar watch worth under £15, up for sale under an assumed trade name somoene made up for £80.

That’s generally good advice no matter what you are buying. Take the time to look online and see if you can get the same item for a better price elsewhere. It’s so easy to do. I do that with all of my Christmas shopping, birthday shopping, even grocery shopping. The savings can sometimes be substantial.

The same outrage actually extended into the world of satchels. Now, I'm not "into" leather satchels per se, I can see that they can be very nice things, but when it comes to these, a friend of mine rules supreme. Again, countless times, we can see the same product on Chinese resellers going for 10% of the asking price of some unscrupulous individuals. They sucker you in with an AI generated shop in, say, London, with an AI "satchel maker" with his outfit brandishing tools, saying, oh, we're ending trading, wonderful deals, etc… no. Just no. These people pray on the ignorance of the marketplace and make a killing. And they don't even care enough to put a little effort into their deception either.
