Do my ticket plans make sense?

I'm planning to spend two weeks in Paris this summer, August 16-30. I have a place to stay in central Paris, and would like to make several day trips to DLRP. Given that I would like to spend several days in the parks, but don't need my second day there to be immediately following my first, I've been planning to buy Passeport Annuel Francilien for both myself and my then-13-year-old son, and simply avoid the blackout dates listed at DLRP Magic's information page.

If I'm reading the prices correctly, this is less expensive than a 3- or 4-day park hopper, plus we get the 10% discount on restaurants. But am I missing something? I'd love advice on whether my plans make sense. Thanks in advance for your help!

Makes perfect sense to me - so long as you're not planning to return to the park on day 2 or 3, then it's quite a cheap way of doing it :thumbsup2

Yes this makes perfect sense. Just remember that you cant use the francilien pass on the 2nd or 3rd day after use.

i think you also get discount in shops as well as restaurants

If you look at the sponsorship thread you could get someone to sponsor you and receive a discount on the pass as well

Great idea, thanks!

I notice the current form posted expires in April, so I'm guessing I should look for a potential sponsor once the right form is released. Or do people tend to arrange these things well in advance? I'm a little unclear on the etiquette.

And may I say I am absolutely thrilled that I'll be at DLRP this summer? I've only been there once before, and I can't wait to see the dragon under the castle again, and Phantom Manor, and Pirates, yay!

Ive just bumped the sponsorship thread for you

You could arrange for someone to sponsor you now if you wanted as long as they know you wont need it til August it should be fine
