Do ME passengers find their rooms ready to checkin?

I heard somewhere on these boards that ME passengers' rooms were ready quicker than those that drive or cab to the resort. They said it was because Disney knows when you will arrive so they can prepare those rooms. Is this true?

Does the wait for a room appear to be shorter for ME'ers?

I was just there last week and my room wasn't ready. I got there at 11 and did not get my room until 3. I was kind of hoping that my room would be ready early, it was when I got there last year around 12 but it wasn't really a big deal.

We used DME for our trip last month. We got to BCV at about 1ish and our room was ready at 2:30....for a villa that's really pretty good. I've never gotten in one before 4:15.

It's not a matter of a wait time. There is no way for any of the room assigners or front desk cast members to know how long it will take for any room to be cleaned.

HOWEVER, what does happen is this: When you land, the resort gets sent a message that you are on your way. If there are any clean rooms available that meet your requests, the room assigner will give you that room. If you had not travelled DME, then that room would probably have been given to someone else.
