do lunch hour menu and dinner hour menu overlap?

Looking at menus... this next trip we plan to do more sit down dining than previous trips... On many of the menus I can see my older kids enjoying the lunch selections... sandwiches and such. Can they only be ordered at lunch time or can they also be ordered at dinner? Or is there an overlap period for late lunchers and early dinner-eaters? Thank you for helping!

The only thing you can do is ask.Some places will allow you to order off a lunch menu if it is dinner, and others won't.Unfortunately, you won't know till you are there.

I thought there was about 1 hour in between lunch and dinner for most restaurants. I've never known them for serving both at the same time.
