I recently assembled a storage cabinet made of a hard plastic material. After telling a couple of people who I put it together for, how careful I am – I sort & count each screw, part, etc & match it to the directions before I start assemble, I went ahead & switched the screws by accident.

My question, do you think it will make that much of a difference; will the whole thing fall apart when things are put on the shelves? I know it may be hard to tell since you don’t know the pieces involved but there were 2 sets of screws, one was about 3/4” and the other was about 1/8 of an inch smaller & a little fatter. I can’t believe I did this but by the time I realized it, it was too late to change it because I used the fatter ones first. It seems like it’s holding but we haven’t put anything on the shelves yet.

(I haven’t owned up to it, too embarrassed.)
