So, I have come to the conclusion that I want to design and make our save the date cards for both our WISHES dessert party and for the vow renewal day events.

However, I am having a problem "sourcing" some of the items I'd like to find. I would love to hear where you all found your materials.

Here is what I am looking for:

Save the Date cards for DP
Found scalloped edge 4x6 cards at Target with matching envelopes
Has anyone used Target paper products? What do you think of the quality?

Save the Dates for the VR:
Need vellum sheets 4x6 or 5x7, probably in pink -- where to find?
Need personalized seals -- preferably mickey head -- where to find?

VR Invitations:
I would like to have JUST the invitation itself printed on a 4x6 or 5x7 card that I could insert in a cardsandpockets folio
I would like that card to have gold stars cascading down at least one edge of the border -- I have NO idea where to find and have printed just this card

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

my 2nd fave paper store online: paper and more
you can probably get your vellum on here, they have the best vellum prices that i've seen anywhere

i used the program kit from michaels which is i think the same as the kit from target...so you should be fine.

i'll keep a look out for your star stationary...

Thank you so much, Corie and Caryn! You guys are the BEST! Off I go to explore those websites! :cool1:

Check out ebay for mickey seals!

Go into browse categories, everything else, wedding supplies and type in just disney in that category and you will find them

You can probably find them by just typing mickey seals but just wanted to give ya a tip

I make most of my holiday cards myself and perhaps I am a novice but Micheals craft store is immensly helpful! So probably whatever local craft store you have would have quality things. Or they could point you into You can buy blank cards in mulitple colors. I don't know how Disney you want to be but typing in clipart Disney into google gets a TON of stuff to copy/paste. And I love Target so I refuse to beleive that their items are sub-par! Good Luck!!

bumping for others who are working on their own invitations and save the dates!

Well, I bit the bullet and did a 100 pack of vellum from Caryn's favorite site for vellum. :goodvibes I did a 100 pack broken into 3 different colors -- cream, blush pink and gold metallic. I think the cream will be for the save the dates for the vow renewal. Somehow, I'll use the pink and/or gold metallic for the programs and/or Make A Wish Foundation announcements. The price was so good that I couldn't resist buying different colors to see how they'd look and the website had a flat rate shipping for orders over $15, IIRC.
