Do I wait until we board to see if early seating waitlist came through?

We are cruising on DVC points and are on the waitlist for early seating. We have 2 ds's. Ages 4 and 10. We had early seating on our last cruise and really liked it. Do I call MS to check on the waitlist or do I wait until we board? It says on our confirmation that we are waitlisted.

Has anyone had any luck with the waitlist? We will make the best of it if we don't get it. My ds (3 yrs at the time like to eat with the kids club, but we would like him to eat with us at least 1/2 of the time at dinner.) The wait staff is just too wonderful for him to miss, plus we enjoy his company, of course!

You migh know when your docs arrive, or when you get to the port at check-in. Even if you do not get it then, you can request the change on-ship (usually deck 3 forward - they tell you in the Welcome Aboard Navigator).

We were still wait-listed when our docs arrived. We found our we got early seating when we boarded.

I'm in the same situation - this is the one bone I have to pick with Travelocity. We're also wait listed for early seating, but when our docs arrived, we were still listed for late seating. I'm hoping the wait list clears by the time we check in at port, or I'll try to switch it on the ship.

I have a question about the documents. Where is the dining time listed? We just got ours yesterday for May 8, and I didn't see anywhere where our dining was listed. We are on the wait list for early dining also. Does that mean, maybe, they're still trying to get us on early dining?

i was wait listed for 2 months and i call my ta at dreams and she called dcl and talked to the person in charge of seating and i got my last 2 people moved to the early seating now all 13 of us are together but iam still waiting to see if we will sit together TRY CALLING DCL AND ASKING IT CANT HURT
