Do I really need to print out my park reservations confirmations?

Or can they scan whatever from the email? I'd prefer not to print more than necessary.

I’ve been on 3 separate multi-day trips since the parks reopened (I park hopped every time) and never once have they asked for my reservation confirmation. They scan your ticket just like they always have so either your reservation shows up automatically when they scan your ticket or they don’t actually check for reservations

Thank you!

I've logged over 25 park visits since the reopening.

Not once has anyone ever asked for my reservation QR code. I delete the confirmation emails immediately. You don't need them.

As long as your app shows your reservations, you're good to go.

The QR codes are only a backup if something goes sideways with your reservation. You don't show them unless there is an issue scanning your ticket.

While I have not personally needed mine, I have heard others claim they needed to show theirs because there was an issue.

Gotcha. Were they ok on the phone or did they have to have the paper?

From what I heard either or. Like I said, I haven't personally run into it. But I'm extra cautious and screenshot them and saved to a folder I could quickly access just in case. I wouldn't worry about printing it out. It's literally just a backup. It seems extremely rare especially these days for things to mess up :)

Great! Thanks!

Folks in the next line over yesterday were having an issue. It looked like they were able to use the QR codes on their phone to resolve the problem.

Just FYI, if your ticket won't scan, good luck dealing with it. They don't seem to know what to do with people whose tickets don't show an attached reservation. They NEVER ask to see a reservation QR code or email. I've seen people turned away SO many times because their tickets simply pop up a "no linked reservation " and the CMs just tell them that and turn them away to figure it out on their own. I always wonder what happens to those people...

Do you know if they actually HAD a park reservation? Or did they really just have park tickets and no reservation?

Although we have never had to show or use them, I have always printed our My Plans from the app just in case. Better to be prepared than sorry!

I say “better more room in my pockets than a bunch of random papers I know I won’t need” LOL 😆 if anything goes wrong I know I can just pull it up from my email, the app, website, etc

No idea. It seems they are usually people who have no idea a reservation system exists. But I've seen it happen in front of me several times and the CM never asks for a reservation email or QR code, just tells them they don't have one.
