So we're going to WDW in may and starting to make our ADRs. We will have a roughly 3 month old baby when we travel. I will be mostly slinging the baby as she'll be too little for a high chair.

I'm just unsure whether I should include the baby in the overall number for the ADR or not?

One of our ADRs is for Sci fi Diner and there will be 6 of us (4 adults 2 children) pllus baby and I really want to be able to sit in one of the car booths and I'm worried that if I book for 7 (inclusive of baby) we wont be able to be seated in one?

Other ADRs i'm not so worried about the extra numbers.

Thanks,
Caroline

Yes, infants need to be included. It has to do with fire code and capacity. I'm sure if you just tell them when you check in at Sci Fi that you'll be holding the baby, they'll probably go ahead and give you a car.

Yes you do need to include the infant. The child will still count towards overall occupancy numbers for the restaurant.

Everyone counts for restaurant occupancy, regardless of their age or whether or not they will actually eat. Yes, you need to include the infant. If you don't and you show up with the infant, they will change your party size and that may result in one of your party not being admitted to the restaurant.

Thank you everyone, I had only made two ADRs so far and have managed to change both of them to add an extra person. Thanks for the info :earsboy:
