Do I need to do RIP tour?

First time at HHN. Myself, wife and 3 teens coming into Orlando Sat Oct 30. Have purchased tickets to HHN for that night. Will get into Orlando about 3pm. Would you recommend RIP tour to assure we get to see and do everything in one night or some other option? I assume that night will be very crowded? When are RIP tours available? I don't see anything on the website. thanks in advance.

Welcome to Disboards! The park should be really crowded on that date. It worries me that you will be arriving into Orlando around 3pm. Queues start building up putside the turnstiles pretty early and with 3 teens, you better have a fast pace.
Stay and Scream would have been the best option since you would have an earlly start but you would need to be in the park on the day of the event.

You would at least need Express Passes for that Saturday to "try" and get everything done.

I love it,but its not cheap(don't know the prices yet for this year).But there is two types of tours,5hr or 7hr.You can get all the houses once and maybe the shows on the 5hr tour.On the 7hr you will see the houses twice maybe more and front row seating to the shows.
But a cheaper rout would be buying express passes and a day ticket to do the Stay & Scream.You will be able to hit 2 or three houses before the line gets long,then start using the express for the remainder of the houses and shows.

I personally want to do a R.I.P. Tour, but due to costs (I recommend) and plan on going with a express pass. With a express pass you'll be able to do everything and don't worry about getting there super early if you have express. Last year we went on a saturday Night got there a bit after gates opened and still managed to do all open rides, 5 houses, and one show. So without express I'd say we did pretty darn good! lol

I looked at my RIP tour information from last year and for a non-private tour (4 hours in length) it was $150 plus tax per person, plus your HHN ticket ($74.99 per person plus tax). Private tours for peak nights (Fri, Sat) were $1800.00 plus tax per group plus your HHN tickets. They were up to 7 hours in length and are tailored specifically to your group. As others have said, tour information and prices have not been released yet this year, but this will at least give you an idea of what you would be looking at if prices didn't increase.

October 30th falls on a Saturday this year, so with that being a peak night, if you are unable to do the RIP tour, I would most definitely recommend express passes for everyone to ensure you get through all the houses. Express passes for the 30th are $79.99 per person.

Bieng the 20' anniversary of HHN,I predict this year to be more busy then last few years.I'm sure it will,so be prepared for large ques and crowds!!!

Go with the Express Pass unless you have money to burn. The RIP tours are great but pricey and you should be able to do everything with Express. RIP is cool because you don't wait at all, while Express lines can sometimes get long...not usually, but as an example, the Saw Express line last year was often half an hour or more. There may be more people doing Express this year because Uni is letting us locals buy it along with our Frequent Fear passes. DH and I jumped on those passes!
